The deadline for abstract submission is October 24, 2026.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">About Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (&#8220;DSNLU&#8221;) is a National Law University located at Sabbavaram, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India. It was constituted by the DSNLU Act, 2008.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">About the Centre for IPR and Technology (CIPR&amp;T)<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Intellectual Property (&#8220;IP&#8221;) is a creation of the mind, and the law confers on its creator the right to exclusive use of that creation. This right is granted for a limited period, yet its exclusive nature makes it significant.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">In India, IP law has changed considerably under the influence of TRIPS, with a direct impact on the legal regime governing patents, copyrights, designs, trademarks and geographical indications. IPRs and technology are closely related, and the existing IP and IT laws have been amended from time to time to keep pace with global technological change. In recent years, IPRs and technology laws have emerged as important policy instruments. Their growing presence has also drawn intense criticism, and the structure of the institution itself has changed periodically as newer subject matters entered its ambit.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">CIPR&amp;T endeavors to become a beacon in the field of Intellectual Property Rights and Technology Law by encouraging the synthesis of knowledge and best practices across academia, practitioners and the research fraternity.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">About the Journal<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The DSNLU Journal of Science, Technology &amp; Law (&#8220;the Journal&#8221;), published by CIPR&amp;T under ISSN 2583-1208, is a peer-reviewed, double-blind and open-access journal. This issue discusses seminal themes in IP and technology of contemporary relevance.
