Khaitan & Co Advised IIFL Capital Services Limited, Axis Capital Limited, JM Financial Institutional Securities Limited, Kotak Securities Limited, 360 ONE Capital Market Private Limited, 360 ONE Distribution Services Limited, SBICAP Securities Limited and Sunidhi Securities and Finance Limited (“Brokers”) in relation to the sale, through the stock exchange mechanism, of 1.11 billion units (representing  25.03%) of Knowledge Realty Trust by BREP Asia SG L&T Holding (NQ) Pte. Ltd., BREP Asia SG DRPL Holding (NQ) Pte. Ltd., BREP Asia II Indian Holding Co IV (NQ) Pte. Ltd. and BREP Asia II Indian Holding Co VII (NQ) Pte. Ltd., each being a sponsor group member of the Trust, for an aggregate consideration of approximately INR 11,988 crore.<\/p>\n

The transaction constituted the largest Offer for Sale (OFS)<\/span> through the stock exchange mechanism undertaken by a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) in India<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The OFS was undertaken, inter alia, to facilitate compliance with the minimum public unitholding requirements applicable to the Trust.<\/p>\n
