The President of India has reappointed Shashi Prakash Singh<\/span>, Krishna Nandan Singh<\/span> and Satyapal Jain<\/span> as Additional Solicitors General (ASGs) for the Allahabad, Patna, and Punjab and Haryana High Courts, respectively, for a further term of three months with effect from 1 October 2026<\/span>, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.<\/p>\n

The Ministry of Law and Justice, Department of Legal Affairs, notified the appointments on 17 September 2026<\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<\/colgroup>\n\n\n\n\n\n

Shashi Prakash Singh<\/span> has been serving as Additional Solicitor General for the Allahabad High Court since 2018<\/span> and has received successive reappointments thereafter.<\/p>\n

Krishna Nandan Singh<\/span> has also been serving as Additional Solicitor General for the Patna High Court for several years and was reappointed to the post in 2023 for a further three-year term.<\/p>\n

Satyapal Jain<\/span>, who was first appointed Additional Solicitor General for the Punjab and Haryana High Court in 2015, was reappointed to the post in 2023 for a three-year term.<\/p>\n
