The discussions covered:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>MoUs for judicial cooperation to strengthen relations between countries;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The role of mediation and arbitration in resolving business and corporate disputes and creating a healthy environment for commercial activities between nations;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The need for efficient commercial courts to enhance the trust of foreign investors;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Possibilities of mutual recognition of judicial awards and decrees;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Utilisation of institutions such as the National Judicial Academy, Bhopal, for professional exchange programmes;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Exchange of best legal practices among different countries;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The need for bilateral conferences on laws concerning contemporary issues;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Integration of technological advancements, particularly Artificial Intelligence, to enhance judicial efficiency; and<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Strengthening people-to-people ties through expeditious judicial processes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 11.0pt;\">Chief Justice Surya Kant proposes common platform for Arbitration and Mediation<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The Chief Justice highlighted the important role of the judiciary in building coordinated bilateral cooperation and strengthening bilateral ties.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">He also proposed the creation of a common platform for Arbitration and Mediation to address commercial disputes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The bilateral meetings facilitated direct interaction and exchange of views on matters of mutual judicial interest, with the engagements aimed at further strengthening cooperation among the participating judiciaries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Judicial leaders who met Chief Justice Surya Kant<\/p>\n<p>The dignitaries who held bilateral meetings with the Chief Justice included:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/BRICS-Chief-Justices-Forum-2026-2-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%; text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-style: italic;\">H.E.
