Accredited with an &#8216;A+&#8217; Grade by NAAC, the University is committed to academic excellence and professional development across disciplines.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">MANUU Law School<\/span> functions as a premier centre for legal education within the University and is dedicated to fostering analytical, ethical, and practice-oriented legal training. The institution emphasizes experiential learning to equip students with the professional competencies required in contemporary legal practice.<\/p>\n<h3>About the Opportunity<\/h3>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">MANUU Law School is organizing the <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">First International Client Counselling Competition, 2026<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The competition seeks to simulate a real-time law office consultation, wherein participating teams interview a client, identify legal and factual issues, analyse potential courses of action, and provide structured legal advice. The objective is to cultivate essential lawyering skills such as client interviewing, legal analysis, ethical reasoning, teamwork, and professional communication.<\/p>\n<p>The competition will be conducted in four rounds:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>Preliminary Round<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Quarter Final<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Semi-Final<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Final Round<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The Preliminary and Quarter Final Rounds will be conducted online, while the Semi-Final and Final Rounds will be held offline at MANUU, Hyderabad.<\/p>\n<h3>Theme<\/h3>\n<p>The problem for the competition shall be based on any or the entire spectrum of laws, including:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>Public International Law<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>AI &amp; Law<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Constitutional Law<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Criminal Law<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Labour Law<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Administrative Law<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Company Law<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Family Law<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Other allied areas of law relevant to the theme<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Eligibility<\/h3>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>Students enrolled in three-year or five-year LL.B. degree programmes from recognized Universities\/Law Schools\/Colleges are eligible to participate.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Each team shall consist of <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">two participants only<\/span> (Counsel 1 and Counsel 2).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Only <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">one team per institution<\/span> shall be permitted.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">A maximum of <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">20 teams<\/span> shall be selected on a first-come-first-serve basis (subject to extension at the discretion of the Organizing Committee).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Registration Fee<\/h3>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The registration fee is <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">&#8377;2,000\/- per team<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
