School of Law, GITAM (Deemed to be) University is hosting its flagship event, Dr. MVVS Murthi 7th Moot Court Competition 2026 in offline mode from 7th<\/span> to 10th<\/span> of October, 2026 at Visakhapatnam.<\/p>\n

Established in 2012 on the Visakhapatnam Campus, the School of Law is a constituent institution of GITAM (Deemed to be University). GITAM Moot and Advocacy Committee (GMAC) is a remarkable wing of the GITAM School of Law, which is dedicated to provide comprehensive advocacy training to students. GMAC had organized various moot court competitions, both external and internal, ensuring students have ample opportunities to hone their legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Students are given necessary guidance and networking opportunities, which would reshape their career path.<\/span><\/p>\n

The GITAM Moot & Advocacy Committee<\/span> is proud to announce the 7th edition of the Dr. MVVS Murthi Moot Court Competition<\/span> which will be held from<\/span> 7th<\/span> to 10th<\/span> of October, 2026<\/span> in association with SCC Online<\/span> as Knowledge Partner and SCC Times<\/span> as Media Partner.<\/p>\n

This year’s Moot Court Competition is particularly significant as it explores the evolving landscape of criminal law under the new criminal law regime, presenting a complex fact scenario involving homicide, criminal conspiracy, electronic evidence, forensic science, and procedural safeguards. Designed to challenge participants on both substantive and procedural aspects of criminal jurisprudence, the proposition offers a unique opportunity to engage with contemporary legal issues and showcase advocacy, research, and analytical skills on a national platform. We invite you to be a part of this intellectually stimulating competition.<\/p>\n
