Retains 7.1% Interest Rate on Special Deposit Scheme for Non-Government Provident, Superannuation and Gratuity Funds"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;\">\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">On 3 July 2026, the Ministry of Finance (Department of Economic Affairs) notified that deposits made under the Special Deposit Scheme (SDS) for Non-Government Provident, Superannuation and Gratuity Funds will earn interest at <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">7.1% per annum<\/span> for the quarter from <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">1 July 2026 to 30 September 2026<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Key Highlights<\/p>\n<ol style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\">\n<li>\n<p>The notification specifies the interest rate applicable to deposits under:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>Non-Government Provident Funds;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Superannuation Funds; and<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Gratuity Funds.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The Special Deposit Scheme (SDS) allows approved PF, superannuation, and gratuity trusts to invest funds with the Government and earn a notified interest rate.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Deposits under the Scheme will earn interest at:<\/p>\n<table style=\"border-bottom-width: 0.5pt;
