{"id":385512,"date":"2026-05-29T15:00:41","date_gmt":"2026-05-29T09:30:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/?p=385512"},"modified":"2026-05-29T18:02:12","modified_gmt":"2026-05-29T12:32:12","slug":"nclt-nclat-10th-anniversary-bar-association-event-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/post\/2026\/05\/29\/nclt-nclat-10th-anniversary-bar-association-event-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"A Decade of NCLT and NCLAT: NCLT &amp; AT Bar Association to Mark the Milestone with Commemorative Event in New Delhi"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;\">\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Ten years after the establishment of the National Company Law Tribunal (&#8220;<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">NCLT<\/span>&#8221;) and the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (&#8220;<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">NCLAT<\/span>&#8221;), institutions that have transformed corporate adjudication and insolvency resolution in India, the NCLT &amp; AT Bar Association (&#8220;<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Bar Association<\/span>&#8221;) is set to commemorate the milestone with a special event in New Delhi on 1 June 2026.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The event, to be held at the Mavalankar Auditorium, Constitution Club of India, will bring together members of the judiciary, legal fraternity, insolvency professionals, chartered accountants, company secretaries, academicians, and other stakeholders associated with corporate and insolvency law practice across the country.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The NCLT &amp; AT Bar Association, registered under the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/DocumentLink.aspx?q=JTXT-0002919602\" target=\"_blank\">Societies Registration Act, 1860<\/a>, represents Advocates, Company Secretaries, Chartered Accountants, and Cost Accountants practising before the NCLT and NCLAT. The commemorative programme seeks to celebrate the contribution of these specialised tribunals to the evolution of India&#8217;s corporate legal and insolvency framework over the past decade.<\/p>\n<p>The gathering will be addressed by several distinguished dignitaries, including:<\/p>\n<ol style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\">\n<li>\n<p>Mr. Justice Pankaj Mithal, Judge, Supreme Court of India;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, Union Minister of Law &amp; Justice and Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Mr. Justice B.R. Gavai, Former Chief Justice of India;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Mr. Justice Ashok Bhushan, Chairperson, NCLAT;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Mr. Justice Rajesh Bindal, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India; and<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Mr. Justice Anupinder Singh Grewal, President, NCLT.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The event is being organised under the leadership of Mr. Virender Ganda, Senior Advocate and President of the NCLT &amp; AT Bar Association.
