On 4 May 2026, the Haryana Government<\/span> issued a notification enabling the Governor of Haryana<\/span> to allow any “Establishment” situated in the State of Haryana to get its business registered only under the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Need:<\/h3>\n

If the business is registered under the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020<\/a><\/span> then it does not need to separately register or inform commencement of business under the Haryana Shop and Commercial Establishments Act, 1958<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

This is done to avoid duplicate registrations and processes<\/span>.<\/p>\n

However, the business will still have to follow all other provisions of the Haryana Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1958<\/a> except where those provisions conflict with the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
