It is not restricted to any particular field of law, and includes legal as well as policy related current issues, both national and international. It is a faculty run Journal whose primary objective is to serve as an important academic forum to legal fraternity. The publication of NCLJ is an earnest attempt to provide an effective research tool by sparking scholastic conversation among a diverse group of academicians, judges, jurists, practitioners.<\/p>\n<h2>Suggested Themes<\/h2>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The submissions may be made on any contemporary area in the field of law and legal education.<\/p>\n<h2>Submission Guidelines<\/h2>\n<p>The National Capital Law Journal invites original, unpublished manuscripts from all academicians, judges, and legal professionals from India and abroad, under the following categories &#8212;<\/p>\n<ol style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\">\n<li>\n<p>Long Articles (8000-10000 words, including footnotes)<\/p>\n<p>This category is designed to comprehensively deal with and provide a sustained analysis of a particular legal topic, identifying lacunae therein and suggesting solutions to the problem.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Short Articles (4000-6000 words, including footnotes)<\/p>\n<p>The Journal includes short articles to provide an opportunity for the members of the legal fraternity to keep abreast of new ideas and legal reforms. In this category, a more comprehensive study of a narrow topic is involved, and the issues must be addressed from a new perspective providing a critical insight on the subject.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Legislative\/Case Comments (2000 &#8212; 3000 words including footnotes)<\/p>\n<p>An important feature of the Review is &#8216;Legislative and Case Comments&#8217;. A note is a concise argument focusing on any recent legal controversy or debate. A comment is limited to critical appraisal of a recent judicial decisions, new legislation (enacted or proposed), or policy reform proposals.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Book Review (1000-1500 words including footnotes<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">A book review is a critical evaluation that analyzes a book&#8217;s contents, style, and merits, typically combining summary with personal or scholarly assessment. Guidelines for reviews vary based on the platform (academic, blog, or commercial), but generally follow a structure of 1000-1500 words focusing on analysis rather than just plot summary.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 11.5pt;\">A. General Instructions<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>Submissions will be accepted from academicians and professionals only.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Submissions should be in Times New Roman, font size 12 with 1.5 line spacing, justified text and 1-inch margins on all sides of the A4 sheet. (Page number)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>All headings must have uniform formatting.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The first page of the manuscript should only contain the title of the paper. The main body of the manuscript must begin from the second page.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Submissions Link : <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/oGAY9Rk3SSdfLPuK6\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/forms.gle\/oGAY9Rk3SSdfLPuK6<\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>A declaration to the effect that the submission is original and has not been previously published or currently under review at any other journal\/conference\/book etc. and should not be submitted to any other journal\/conference while in process of review with us.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Co-authorship up to One co-author (Only) is allowed for Long Articles and Short Articles.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Co-authorship is not allowed for Notes and Comments.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>Footnotes should be in Times New Roman, font size 10 with 1.0 line spacing. Endnotes are not allowed.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Copyright over the published material shall vest with Law Centre-II ONLY. In order to ensure transparency in the blind review process, the name of the author or institutional affiliation must not be mentioned anywhere in the manuscript.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>All submissions will undergo a rigorous editorial process devised to strengthen tone and substance.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Any form of plagiarism will lead to disqualification for publication in the Review.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>All footnotes\/references in the submission must conform to the ILI footnoting format.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">All submissions must be made in .doc or docx format. No pdf format shall be entertained.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Headings: The number of levels of headings should not preferably exceed four and each heading must be numbered.<\/p>\n<p>1. First Level Heading<\/p>\n<p>The main headings should be centred, emboldened and typed in upper case, symbolised with capital Roman numerals (I, II, III, etc.). This format helps to create a clear and consistent structure for the document as well as to highlight the main topics and subtopics.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">E.g., I. INTRODUCTION<\/p>\n<p>2. Second Level Heading<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The headings for the second level should have the first letter of each word in uppercase and be aligned to the left and bolded. Before the heading, there should be a capital letter (A, B, C, etc.). E.g., A. Legal Scrutiny of the Case Law<\/p>\n<p>3. Third Level Heading<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The headings for the third level should have a bold font and align to the left, with only the initial word starting with a capital letter. Use Arabic numerals (1, 2, 3, etc.) before the heading text. E.g., 2. Contours of the judgment<\/p>\n<p>4. Fourth Level Heading<\/p>\n<p>The fourth level headings should be aligned to the left margin and written in italics. Only the initial letter of the first word should be capitalised. The headings should have a lower-case Roman numeral in parentheses before them ((i), (ii), (iii), etc.).<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">E.g. (i) Reference to a matter in dispute<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Copyright over the published material shall vest with Law Centre-II ONLY.
