INTRODUCTION<\/h2>\n

The College of Legal Studies, COER University, Roorkee, is organising an International Conference on “AI & Cyber Security: Legal Issues and Challenges for Digital Future Towards Sustainable Development” (ICAICS 2026) from 24—25 April 2026 in hybrid mode (offline and online). This conference seeks to bring together academicians, researchers, professionals, policymakers and students to deliberate on how law can respond to the rapid transformation driven by artificial intelligence and cyber technologies while remaining aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).<\/p>\n

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE<\/h2>\n

ICAICS 2026 is conceived as a platform to examine the complex legal, regulatory and ethical dimensions of AI and cyber security in a data-driven world. The core mission of the conference is to ensure that technological advancement supports human dignity, privacy, security and sustainability, rather than undermining them. By focusing on both doctrinal and policy-oriented perspectives, the conference aims to encourage critical engagement with issues such as algorithmic bias, cybercrimes, data protection, digital forensics and governance of emerging technologies.<\/p>\n

Host Institution: College of Legal Studies, COER University<\/h2>\n

COER University, Roorkee, situated on the Roorkee—Haridwar Road in Uttarakhand, builds on the 27-year legacy of the College of Engineering Roorkee and presently offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes.
