Preeta Aravindan Krishnamma<\/span> and <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Smt. Liz Mathew Anthraper<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The Collegium also cleared the proposal of appointment of three judicial officers as judges of the High Court of Karnataka. These include <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Smt. Rajeshwari Narayana Hegde<\/span> and <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Smt. Kedambadi Ganesh Shanthi<\/span>, along with <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Shri Mahadevappa Brungesh<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>In the High Court for the State of Telangana, four Additional Judges have been approved for appointment as Permanent Judges. These include <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Justice Yara Renuka, Justice Nandikonda Narsing Rao, Justice E. Tirumala Devi<\/span>, and <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Justice B.R. Madhusudhan Rao<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Further, the Collegium approved the proposal for appointment of <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Smt. Justice Manjusha Ajay Deshpande<\/span>, Additional Judge, as a Permanent Judge of the High Court of Bombay.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">With women accounting for 7 out of the 10 appointments, the latest set of approvals underlines continued efforts to improve gender diversity in constitutional courts, even as representation remains an evolving process within the higher judiciary.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-style: italic;\">Gender representation in focus as Supreme Court Collegium clears fresh High Court appointments.
