Unregistered establishments cannot avail the benefit.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>By removing statutory restrictions on operating hours and weekly closure, the notification enables establishments to function <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">beyond prescribed timings, including round-the-clock operations<\/span>, subject to labour safeguards.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Employment of women during <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">night shifts (8 PM to 6 AM)<\/span> is permitted only upon obtaining a <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">separate exemption under Section 28<\/span>, granted in auto mode based on self-certification and subject to conditions prescribed under an earlier notification issued on 13 October 2025.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The notification expressly retains statutory limits on:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>48 hours per week<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>10 hours per day<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>A maximum of 12 hours per day including rest intervals<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Employees must be provided:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>A <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">minimum 30-minute rest interval after 6 hours of work<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Overtime wages at twice the normal rate<\/span> for extra hours worked<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The exemption does not override or relax compliance with other applicable labour legislations, including rules relating to wages, social security, safety, and welfare.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The notification has no overriding effect on any order, circular, advisory, or notification issued by any other authority, including the police or other government
