The 2026 moot proposition focused on contemporary and pressing issues in <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">constitutional law, federalism, and data governance<\/span>, encouraging participants to engage deeply with evolving legal challenges.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">30 teams<\/span>, including more than <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">10 National Law Schools<\/span> from across India, reinforcing its status as a prominent national-level moot court competition. The preliminary and quarter-final rounds were adjudicated by experienced faculty members and advocates from across the country, ensuring a high standard of evaluation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The semi-final rounds were judged by <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Md Zafar Imam<\/span>, former Principal Judge and former Presiding Officer of the Debt Recovery Tribunal, and <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Pankaj Kapoor<\/span>, Director of <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Quadraant Legal<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The final round was judged by an esteemed panel comprising Hon&#8217;ble Justice <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Ashim Kumar Roy<\/span>, former High Court Judge and former Lokayukta; Prof. (Dr.) <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Jyotsna Yagnik<\/span>, former Principal Judge and Pro Vice-Chancellor; and Prof. (Dr.) <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Subir Kumar Roy<\/span>, Professor and former Officiating Registrar of a State University. Their expertise and insights significantly enriched the competitive experience for all participants.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">National Law University, Jodhpur<\/span> emerged as the winner of THEMIS 2026, while <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Institute of Law, Nirma University<\/span> secured the runner-up position.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The competition concluded with a grand valedictory ceremony graced by the <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Former Chief Justice of India, Hon&#8217;ble Justic Uday Umesh Lalit<\/span>, whose presence added prestige to the occasion and served as an inspiration to the participants.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">THEMIS 2026 concluded on a high note, successfully
