INTRODUCTION<\/h2>\n

The development of a vibrant corporate sector necessarily requires a team of strong professionals with requisite skills. These professionals, equipped with the necessary legal skills, would contribute a lot in setting the corporate agenda, performing due diligence and saving the firm from procedural noncompliance. The present certificate course is designed to ensure that all the stakeholders of the corporate sector, intended to have firsthand information \/ knowledge about corporate governance should be given extensive, in-depth and dynamic understanding of the law and the legal system concerning the corporate governance in India.<\/p>\n

COURSE OBJECTIVES & LEARNING OUTCOMES<\/h2>\n

The Course will provide brief information\/knowledge about the law and legal system of India. The Course will provide extensive information\/knowledge about the law and legal system dealing with corporate governance. The course will focus on the Companies Act 2013, SEBI Regulations and its effect on corporate governance. The course will provide a special focus on the Security and Exchange Board of India, its role and functions in corporate governance.<\/p>\n

The learner would be able to understand the law and legal system of India. The learner would be able to understand the theoretical and practical aspects of corporate governance. The learner would be able to examine the relationship between the Companies Act, 2013<\/a> and its impact on Corporate Governance. The learner would be able to examine the relationship between SEBI Regulations and their impact on Corporate Governance.<\/p>\n

ELIGIBILITY<\/h2>\n

Applicants pursuing a graduation\/ post-graduation degree in any discipline from any recognised University\/Institute of India or abroad will be eligible for the programme.<\/p>\n

Professionals working in relevant industries.<\/p>\n

COURSE FEE<\/h2>\n

The fee including the examination fee shall be Rs. 5,999\/- (Inclusive of GST).<\/p>\n

EVALUATION AND GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS<\/h2>\n

The course shall be completed within one month from the date of commencement with a total of 10 Online Sessions (90 minutes each) – one reserved for Assessment. The sessions shall be conducted on Friday\/Saturday in the evening slot.<\/p>\n

All the classes will be conducted online only, and the participant has to attend a minimum of 70% of the classes offered to be eligible for the Assessment and Certification.<\/p>\n

The Assessment shall be done through one take-home assignments, and the same will be graded out of 100 marks. To get the certificate, a participant must score a minimum of 60% marks in the take-home assignments.<\/p>\n

A soft copy of specified study material will be provided.<\/p>\n
