The existing norms continue to be:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">25 days<\/span> for consumers in <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">urban areas<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">45 days<\/span> for consumers in <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">rural areas<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/post\/2026\/03\/10\/petroleum-ministry-directs-refineries-boost-lpg-production-domestic-use\/\" target=\"_blank\">MoPNG has directed the oil refineries to increase LPG production, divert the surplus to households, and implement a 25-day LPG booking rule.<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The Government has advised citizens not to believe or circulate unverified information and reiterated that sufficient LPG stocks are available across the country.
