On 14-3-2026, the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas<\/span> notified the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (Regulation of Supply and Distribution) Amendment Order, 2026<\/span> to amend the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (Regulation of Supply and Distribution) Order, 2000<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n

This order came into effect from 14-3-2026.<\/p>\n

Modifications made in “Restriction on unauthorized possession, supply and consumption of liquefied petroleum gas”:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. \n

    A person who has a Piped Natural Gas connection<\/span> cannot retain\/ take refills of domestic LPG cylinders\/ obtain a domestic Liquefied Petroleum Gas (‘LPG’)<\/span> connection from any Government oil company.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    People having both the connections will have to surrender their domestic LPG connection.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    This practice of having both Piped Natural Gas connection and LPG connection has now come under the “Prohibited Activities for Government Oil Companies”<\/span> listed under Schedule- I of the Order.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
