ABOUT TNNLU<\/h2>\n

Tamil Nadu National Law University (TNNLU) was established by the Government of Tamil Nadu by an Act of State Legislature (Act No. 9 of 2012) to provide quality legal education at the global level.<\/p>\n

ABOUT MOOT COURT COMMITTEE<\/h2>\n

The Moot Court Committee (MCC) is an integral part of our institution’s commitment in providing a well-rounded legal education. The MCC has a team consisting members from various batches, who carry out various functions such as organizing workshops, conducting moot court competitions, providing guidance & training, facilitating network and exposure, and taking important policy decisions to promote the mooting standards of the University. The MCC presently aims to bring TNNLU to the forefront of mooting and hosts the TNNLU-Antitrust National Moot Court Competition and the TNNLU-Insolvency National Moot Court Competition.<\/p>\n

ABOUT 8th<\/span> TNNLU National Antitrust Moot Court Competition, 2026<\/h2>\n

The Tamil Nadu National Law University is organising the 8th Edition of the TNNLU National Antitrust Moot Court Competition, 2026<\/span> scheduled to take place in a hybrid format on 3rd and 4th April, 2026 (Online) and 18th April, 2026 (Offline).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Venue for Offfline Rounds:<\/span> TNNLU Campus – Tiruchirapalli.<\/p>\n

THEME<\/h2>\n

The 8th edition focuses on the Interface between Antitrust Law and its Regulation of Intellectual Outputs produced by Dominant Businesses using Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) technologies.<\/span> The Moot Proposition further explores the Constitutional Implications of Imposing Dual Competition Laws (a regular ex-post regime for traditional markets and a specialized ex-ante framework for digital markets) in a Developing Economy.<\/p>\n

ELIGIBILITY<\/h2>\n

Law students duly enrolled in the 3-year LL.B. courses or 5-year integrated LL.B. courses undergraduate programmes may apply to participate in the Competition. Multiple teams from the same Institution\/University can participate in the Competition. Cross Institution teams are allowed.<\/p>\n

REGISTRATION FEES<\/h2>\n

Each Team must register by filling up the Registration Form available on the Rule book and paying a registration fee for Stage – I – Memorial Evaluation Round of INR 1000\/- on or before 1st<\/span> March, 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n

Teams qualifying for the Oral Rounds must register by paying a registration fee of INR 6,000\/- for Stage – II – Oral Rounds.<\/p>\n
