assented the <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Industrial Relations Code (Amendment) Act, 2026<\/span>, modifying the repealing provisions of <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/DocumentLink.aspx?q=JTXT-9000630029\" target=\"_blank\">Industrial Relations Code, 2020<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">This Amendment will be in retrospective effect from <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">21-11-2025<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Under the revised section, the following enactments are repealed:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/DocumentLink.aspx?q=JTXT-0002814533\" target=\"_blank\">Trade Unions Act, 1926<\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/DocumentLink.aspx?q=JTXT-0002810433\" target=\"_blank\">Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) Act, 1946<\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold; margin-bottom: 3%;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/DocumentLink.aspx?q=JTXT-0002756734\" target=\"_blank\">Industrial Disputes Act, 1947<\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The newly inserted sub section (1A) to Section 104 clarifies that, despite this abolition, all <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Tribunals and statutory authorities<\/span> functioning under the repealed laws will continue to operate <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">until<\/span> the corresponding Tribunals and authorities under the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/DocumentLink.aspx?q=JTXT-9000630029\" target=\"_blank\">Industrial Relations Code 2020<\/a> become <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">functional<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">This ensures continuity and prevents any adjudicatory vacuum during the
