In furtherance of its commitment to gender justice, the Legal Aid Centre annually organises a week-long celebration on the occasion of Women&#8217;s Day to recognise, promote, and advance the social, legal, and economic upliftment of women, while fostering awareness and advocacy for women&#8217;s rights in society.<\/p>\n<h3>ABOUT THE COMPETITION: UDHBODHAN<\/h3>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The Legal Aid Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Lucknow, is pleased to announce the organisation of a Speech Competition titled <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">&#8220;UDHBODHAN&#8221;<\/span>, scheduled to be held on <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">10th February 2026<\/span>, as part of the <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">National Women&#8217;s Day Week-long Celebrations, 2026<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The competition shall be conducted on the theme <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">&#8220;Boundaries: Redefining undergraduate or postgraduate course from a recognised University<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Research Scholars and Academicians can participate in the competition.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>RULES FOR COMPETITION<\/h3>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>The competition shall be open to students enrolled in any recognised University, College, or Institution within India.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Each participant shall be permitted a maximum duration of five (5) minutes to present their views.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The use of any language that is offensive, derogatory, disrespectful, or otherwise unparliamentary is strictly prohibited.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The decision of the judges shall be final, conclusive, and binding upon all participants.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Any participant who exceeds the prescribed time limit shall incur negative marking.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 style=\"font-style: italic;\">Criteria for Evaluation<\/h3>\n<p>The participants shall be assessed on the following parameters:<\/p>\n<ol style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\">\n<li>\n<p>Clarity and coherence of thought<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Articulation and oratory skills<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Command over facts and subject matter<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Method and effectiveness of presentation<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">NOTE: The assessment and results declared by the evaluators shall be final and binding, and no challenge thereto
