Delhi High Court:<\/span> In a resolution dated 28-01-2026, the Executive Committee of the Delhi High Court Bar Association (“DHCBA”) resolved to firmly oppose any initiative to enhance the pecuniary jurisdiction of the District Courts from the present value of Rs. 2 to 20 Crores.<\/p>\n

The resolution further stated that a committee consisting of the Executive Committee along with senior members of the bar such as, Senior Advocates A.S. Chandhiok, Arvind Nigam, and others, had been constituted to formulate the required plan of action necessary to oppose any such enhancement.<\/p>\n
