Madhya Pradesh High Court:<\/span> In a writ petition filed regarding the inadequate of teachers in MP Govt. schools, the Division Bench of Sanjeev Sachdeva, CJ., and Vinay Saraf, J., directed the respondent authorities to file affidavits indicating the number of Government Schools in the State and the positions that had vacancies in the said Schools.<\/p>\n

Background<\/h3>\n

A writ petition was filed regarding the inadequate staffing of teachers in schools in the State. The petitioner contended that 499 schools were inadequately staffed and 102 schools had no teachers available. He also raised a grievance concerning the transfer and posting of officers.<\/p>\n

On the previous date, the Court was not inclined to entertain the latter plea as it would be open to the respective teachers, if they were aggrieved by the transfer and posting orders, to raise the grievance in an independent petition. Accordingly, the Court restricted the petition to the issue of inadequate or non-availability of teaching staff in the school.<\/p>\n

Thereafter, the Court issued notice and directed the respondents to file a reply.<\/p>\n

Analysis<\/h3>\n

The Court directed the State to file affidavits indicating the number of Government Schools in the State and the positions that had vacancies in those Schools.<\/p>\n
