The provisions came into force on 20-12-2025.<\/p>\n<h3>All you need to know about the Repealed acts vide Repealing and Amending Act, 2025:<\/h3>\n<ol style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\">\n<li>\n<p>The First Schedule contains <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">71 Acts and Amendments<\/span> which have been repealed.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The Act year of the repealed statutes range from 1886 to 2023:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">From 1886 to 1988<\/span>&#8211; 6 Parent Acts.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Year 2016- 1 Amending Act<\/span> relating arbitration and conciliation;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Year 2017- 5 Amending Acts<\/span> relating to arbitration and conciliation, payment of wages, enemy property, maternity benefits, and employee compensation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Year 2018<\/span>&#8211; <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">7 Amending Acts<\/span> relating to National bank for agriculture, High Court and Supreme Court Judges, payment of gratuity, specific relief, State Banks, negotiable instruments, and Commercial Courts, Commercial Division and Commercial Appellate Division of High Courts.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Year 2019- 8 Amending Acts<\/span> relating to central universities, human rights, airport economic regulatory authority, motor vehicles, national institute of design, chit funds, special protection group, and arms.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Year 2020<\/span>&#8211; <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">8 Amending Acts<\/span> relating to insolvency and bankruptcy, salaries and allowances of Ministers, homeopathy central council, Indian medicine central council, and banking regulation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Year 2021- 17 Amending Acts<\/span> relating to arbitration and conciliation, insurance, medical termination of pregnancy, Government of NCT, factoring regulation, coconut development board, insolvency and bankruptcy, central universities, airport economic regulatory authority, deposit insurance and credit guarantee corporation, Constitution Scheduled Tribes Order, general insurance business, National Commission for Indian system of medicine, National Commission for Homeopathy, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, salaries of High Court and Supreme Court Judges, and election laws.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Year 2022- 7 Amending Acts<\/span> relating to Constitution Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Order, Constitution Scheduled Tribes Order, Delhi Municipal Corporation, weapons of mass destruction and their delivery systems, energy conservation, and Delhi International Arbitration Centre.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Year 2023- 12 Amending Acts<\/span> relating to Constitution Scheduled Tribes Order, Competition, Multi-State Co-operative Societies, Cinematograph, mines and minerals, offshore areas minerals, Government of NCT, coastal aquaculture authority, and central universities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>All you need to know about amendments made vide Repealing and Amending Act, 2025:<\/h3>\n<ol style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\">\n<li>\n<p>The Second Schedule contains <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">4 Acts<\/span> that have been amended.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The amendments have been in the following Major Acts:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/DocumentLink.aspx?q=JTXT-0002726955\" target=\"_blank\">General Clauses Act, 1897<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Registered post&#8221; is replaced with &#8220;speed post with registration&#8221; in Section <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/DocumentLink.aspx?q=JTXT-0001528400\" target=\"_blank\">27<\/a>, enabling faster, trackable, and more reliable statutory service.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/DocumentLink.aspx?q=JTXT-0002726944\" target=\"_blank\">Code of Civil Procedure, 1908<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Registered post&#8221; is replaced with &#8220;speed post with registration&#8221; and &#8220;proof of delivery&#8221; in Section <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/DocumentLink.aspx?q=JTXT-0001523739\" target=\"_blank\">148A (2)<\/a>, Order V, Order XXI, and Order XXXIX, enabling faster, verifiable, and more reliable service processes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/DocumentLink.aspx?q=JTXT-0002835343\" target=\"_blank\">Succession Act, 1925<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p>Section <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/DocumentLink.aspx?q=JTXT-0001555423\" target=\"_blank\">213<\/a> is omitted, removing the mandatory <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">requirement of probate<\/span> for proving a will.
