The event brings together students, faculty, and practitioners to discuss innovative approaches to legal aid and the importance of compassion-driven advocacy in today&#8217;s justice system.<\/p>\n<p>The conclave will feature two key events:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Annual Best Practices Competition (HYBRID) (Competition 1)<\/span>: designed to showcase innovative legal aid practices and outreach initiatives undertaken by university legal aid committees during the academic year 2024&#8212;2025. Participants will highlight their committee&#8217;s work through structured presentations focusing on objectives, methodology, impact, and innovation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Annual Legal Consultation Competition (ONLINE) (Competition 2)<\/span>: a dynamic simulation of client counselling and advisory sessions. Teams will address both civil and criminal legal scenarios, testing their practical knowledge, communication skills, and ethical decision-making abilities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The competitions aim to encourage law students to apply their classroom learning in real-world contexts, promote interactive problem-solving, and develop a deeper understanding of the values underpinning pro bono work.<\/p>\n<h3>Mode of Conduct:<\/h3>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Annual Best Practices Competition (Hybrid)<\/span>: On-campus participation will be mandatory for institutions in and around the NCR region, while others may participate online through the designated virtual platform.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\"><span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Annual Legal Consultation Competition (Online)<\/span>: All rounds will be conducted virtually through the designated platform.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The event will also recognize excellence with cash prizes, certificates, and trophies for winners and runner-ups in both
