The conclave witnessed participation from <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">over 40 universities across Mumbai, Pune, Rajasthan, Odisha, Tamil Nadu and Aurangabad<\/span>, positioning it as a significant national platform for legal education and collaboration.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The conclave was inaugurated by <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Hon&#8217;ble Justice (Retd.) Shri Abhay Oka<\/span>, who highlighted the importance of academic platforms in preparing future legal professionals to address contemporary constitutional and environmental challenges. The <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">theme of the conclave focused on Environmental Law<\/span>, emphasising sustainable development, environmental protection, and constitutional balance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Over three days, students competed in <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">four inter-collegiate competitions<\/span>, Moot Court, Client Counselling, Debate, and PIL Drafting, demonstrating strong research, advocacy, drafting skills, and legal reasoning rooted in environmental jurisprudence. Among key winners, <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">KES Shri Jayantilal H. Patel College of Law, Mumbai<\/span> won the <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">8th Shri Hashuji Advani Memorial Inter-Collegiate Moot Court Competition<\/span>, with <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Adv. Balasaheb Apte College of Law<\/span> as Runner-Up. <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Adv. Balasaheb Apte College of Law<\/span> also emerged winners in the <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Client Counselling Competition<\/span>, while <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Chembur Karnataka College of Law<\/span> won the <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Debate Competition<\/span>. The <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">PIL Drafting Competition<\/span> recognised outstanding legal writing on socially relevant issues.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 36pt; margin-bottom: 3%;\"><span style=\"font-style: italic;\">&#8220;The Vivekanand Legal Conclave stands as a testament to our commitment to nurturing future legal professionals who are deeply rooted in ethical values, driven by a strong sense of social responsibility, and equipped with the knowledge, skills, and perspective required to serve the justice system with integrity and purpose.&#8221;<\/span> said <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Dr. Jayshree Gautam Kanchanpurka, Principal, Vivekanand Education Society&#8217;s College of Law.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Winners of the Moot Court Competition were awarded <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">SCC Online yearly subscriptions<\/span>, along with trophies, certificates, and prizes across competitions. The conclave concluded with a <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Valedictory Ceremony<\/span> graced by <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Hon&#8217;ble Justice Shri Abhay Ahuja and Hon&#8217;ble Justice Shri Shreeram Shirsat of the Bombay High Court<\/span>.
