Delhi High Court:<\/span> In a writ petition against the National Testing Agency (NTA), National Medical Council, and NBEMS, seeking appropriate directions to enable petitioner, foreign medical graduate, to appear in the examination, including a direction that the Court’s order itself be treated as her NEET-UG 2019 scorecard and that her FMGE application be processed accordingly, a Single-Judge Bench of Sachin Datta, J.<\/span>, granted urgent relief and permitted her to appear in the forthcoming Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE) scheduled for January 2026, by directing that an affidavit filed by the NTA be treated as her NEET-UG 2019 scorecard.<\/p>\n

In the instant matter, the petitioner had appeared in the NEET (UG) 2019 examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). For the purpose of appearing in the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) December 2025 session conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), the petitioner was required to furnish her NEET-UG 2019 scorecard. Owing to non-availability of the physical scorecard as the petitioner lost access to the digital scorecard, the petitioner approached the High Court seeking urgent relief.<\/p>\n

The Court noted that paragraph 17 of the affidavit filed by NTA clearly disclosed the petitioner’s marks, percentile, and NEET-UG 2019 rank. The Court further observed that Coordinate Benches had already granted identical relief in similar matters and that there was “no reason to deny the reliefs sought by the petitioner.” The Court found the present case to be squarely covered by the earlier decisions relied upon by the petitioner<\/p>\n

In the light of orders passed by the Coordinate Benches and the affidavit filed by the NTA, the Court directed respondent 3 (NBEMS) “to treat the affidavit filed by the National Testing Agency, together with the present order, as the NEET-UG 2019 scorecard of the petitioner for all relevant purposes.”<\/span> Consequently, The Court disposed of the application as well as the writ petition in the above terms.<\/p>\n
