The university aims to develop legally and socially relevant professionals through its various academic initiatives.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">About the Organizers<\/span> The competition is a collaborative effort by two centres of the University:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (CADR):<\/span> An initiative aimed at promoting academic research on ADR themes and imbibing skills like active listening and empathy.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Centre for International Corporate and Commercial Laws (CICCL):<\/span> Focuses on disseminating knowledge relating to Corporate and Commercial Law in domestic and international arenas.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">About the Competition<\/span> MNLU Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar is organizing the Senior Advocate Late Shri P.M. Shah National Client Counselling Competition, 2026. The competition pays tribute to Late Shri P.M. Shah, a designated Senior Advocate of the Bombay High Court and former Vice-Chairman of the Bar Council of Maharashtra &amp; Goa, known for his ethics and professional acumen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The competition simulates a law office consultation where participants (counsels) interact with a client to elicit information, outline problems, and propose solutions.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Themes<\/span> The problems for the competition will be based on a spectrum of laws, including:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>Cyber Law \/ Technology Law<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Mediation Law<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Contract Law<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Corporate Law<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Arbitration Law<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Eligibility and Team Composition<\/h3>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Eligibility:<\/span> Students enrolled in three-year or five-year law degree programs from any University, Law School, or College are eligible.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Team Size:<\/span> Each team shall comprise <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">two participants only<\/span> (Counsel 1 and Counsel 2).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Selection:<\/span> Participation is limited to <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">40 teams<\/span> on a <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">first-come-first-serve basis<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Date and Venue<\/h3>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Dates:<\/span> 14th and 15th March, 2026.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Venue:<\/span> Maharashtra National Law University, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Campus, Nath Valley Road, Kanchanwadi, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Maharashtra).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Registration Details<\/h3>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Deadline:<\/span> The last date for registration is <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">15th February, 2026<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Fee:<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">&#8377;7,000\/- per team<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Inclusions:<\/span> The fee covers accommodation and food.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 36pt; text-indent: -18pt;\">&#9675; <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Note: Accommodation is provided from 6:00 PM on 13th March to 10:00 AM on 16th March 2026<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Process:<\/span> Teams must fill out the Google Form and submit proof of payment.
