Ambuja and Orient are public listed companies, and both companies are engaged in the business of manufacturing and selling cement and cement related products. As the proposed Orient Merger will entail the issuance of equity shares by Ambuja to the shareholders of Orient and the shareholding of Ambuja in Orient will be cancelled, the proposed Orient Merger upon coming into effect, will result in change of the shareholding of Ambuja on account of induction of Orient&#8217;s shareholders.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The transaction was done under the overall strategic guidance of <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Cyril Shroff<\/span> (<span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Managing Partner<\/span>) and <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">L. Viswanathan<\/span> (<span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Senior Partner<\/span>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The transaction team advising Ambuja was led by <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Ruetveij Pandya<\/span> (<span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Partner<\/span>) and <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Nishikant Sao<\/span> (<span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Partner Designate<\/span>), with support from <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Manjri Singh<\/span> (<span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Associate<\/span>),<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"> Anoushka
