ABOUT SOLVENTIA<\/span><\/h2>\n

Solventia<\/span> — Journal of Insolvency & Bankruptcy Laws [Solventia<\/span>] was established with an objective to pursue and promote innovative scholarship and research in the Insolvency and Bankruptcy laws. It seeks to contribute to the debates, discussions or discourses by engaging in dynamic and advanced research, including pragmatic and theoretical analysis in the realm of insolvency and bankruptcy laws at both domestic and international levels. It<\/span> is a bi-annual, double-blind peer peer-reviewed and edited journal. The remit of the Journal is restricted to Insolvency and Bankruptcy laws and includes domestic as well as international legal and policy-related topics or issues. The previous issues and articles of Solventia<\/span> can be accessed here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Solventia<\/span> invites contributions from experienced practitioners, academicians and law students on contemporary topics related to Insolvency and Bankruptcy laws, as well as on jurisdiction-specific themes.<\/p>\n

MODE OF SUBMISSION<\/h2>\n

⮚ Manuscripts for Volume III, Issue 1 of Solventia<\/span> may be submitted via<\/span> Google Form<\/a><\/span> by 11:59 PM<\/span><\/span> on January 31, 2026<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

⮚ Manuscripts will undergo a three-stage blind review conducted by the Board of Editors of Solventia<\/span> over the course of eight (8) weeks after the submission deadline for Volume II<\/span>I, Issue 1 has elapsed. The detailed information about the editorial process can be accessed<\/span> here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

⮚ We<\/span> accept<\/span> manuscripts<\/span> year-round<\/span>, on<\/span> a<\/span> rolling<\/span> basis<\/span>, and<\/span> any<\/span> manuscript<\/span> submitted<\/span> post the<\/span> aforesaid<\/span> deadline<\/span> will<\/span> be<\/span> considered<\/span> for<\/span> the<\/span> subsequent<\/span> issue<\/span> —<\/span> Volume<\/span> III, Issue 2.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Solventia<\/span> seeks<\/span> submissions<\/span> under<\/span> the<\/span> following<\/span> categories:<\/span><\/p>\n

      Long<\/span> Articles<\/span> —<\/span> 6,000<\/span> to<\/span> 8,000<\/span> words<\/span> (exclusive<\/span> of<\/span> footnotes).<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    2. \n

      Short<\/span> Articles<\/span> —<\/span> 3,000<\/span> to<\/span> 6,000<\/span> words<\/span> (exclusive<\/span> of<\/span> footnotes).<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    3. \n

      Case Notes\/Book<\/span> Reviews<\/span> —<\/span> 1,500<\/span> to<\/span> 2,000<\/span> words<\/span> (exclusive<\/span> of<\/span> footnotes).<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n

      The<\/span> manuscript<\/span> may<\/span> be<\/span> co-authored<\/span> by<\/span> a<\/span> maximum<\/span> of<\/span> three<\/span> (3)<\/span> authors.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    5. \n

      The manuscript must be topical and related to the subject and scope of Solventia<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    6. \n

      The manuscript must contain an abstract of not more than 200 words.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    7. \n

      The authors must follow the OSCOLA: The Oxford Standard for Citation of Legal Authorities (4th<\/span> edition) for citations and footnotes. In case the submitted manuscript does not adhere to this citation format, the manuscript will be rejected in the initial review.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    8. \n

      The manuscript must not include a table of contents or numbered paragraphs.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    9. \n

      In the Google Form, the author must provide a brief biographical description, including name<\/span>, affiliation<\/span>, qualifications<\/span> and<\/span> contact<\/span> details.<\/span> The<\/span> manuscript<\/span> must<\/span> not<\/span> contain<\/span> any<\/span> mention of or reference to the author’s name, affiliation or credentials.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Solventia<\/span> accepts manuscripts on a rolling basis. Any manuscript submitted after the aforesaid deadline will be considered for the subsequent issue.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    11. \n

      The<\/span> manuscript<\/span> must<\/span> be<\/span> contained<\/span> in<\/span> a<\/span> Microsoft<\/span> Word<\/span> (.doc\/.docx)<\/span> document.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      The manuscript must be sent to the Journal via the Google Form<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    13. \n

      A declaration must be made at the time of submission that the manuscript is an original and unpublished work of the author(s), and that it<\/span> is not being considered for publication elsewhere.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    14. \n

      The permissible limit of plagiarism is 10%, and for the usage of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in drafting the manuscript is 10%. Any manuscript with plagiarism or AI usage exceeding the respective thresholds shall be rejected.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
