Building upon the strong foundations of the earlier editions, the forthcoming volume will comprehensively incorporate legislative developments, regulatory changes, and judicial pronouncements from the past two years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">To support this extensive revision, the author invites applications for <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Research Assistants<\/span> to assist with this scholarly endeavour.<\/p>\n<h3>Eligibility Criteria<\/h3>\n<p>Applicants must satisfy the following requirements:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>A strong working knowledge of the <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code<\/span>, along with familiarity with recent jurisprudence;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">devote focused and uninterrupted time<\/span> to the project (candidates engaged in parallel internships, co-curricular activities, or travel during the period may not be considered);<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Physical presence<\/span> is preferred, though limited exceptions may be made for online assistance.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Duration<\/h3>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The research assistance engagement will commence from <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">January 2026<\/span>.<\/p>\n<h3>Nature of Work<\/h3>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The role will involve legal research, analysis of recent case law, statutory amendments, and updating the commentary. Mittal<\/span> is a litigating lawyer, visiting faculty member at leading law schools, and a researcher specialising in insolvency law and allied areas. Since 2016, he has been actively practising before the <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">High Courts, National Company Law Tribunals, and other tribunals in Delhi and Chandigarh<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">As an experienced practitioner, his work spans <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">insolvency law, civil and commercial writ petitions, arbitrations, criminal appeals, regular second appeals in civil matters, and regular and anticipatory bail proceedings<\/span>. He represents a diverse range of institutional and individual clients and is empanelled with <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Punjab National Bank, Legal Aid NCLT Ahmedabad Bench, Markfed, Milkfed, and the Department of Local Government, Punjab<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">In academia, he has served as a <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Specialised Visiting Faculty at National Law University, Mumbai<\/span>, and as a <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Visiting Lecturer at NUJS Kolkata and NLU Nagpur<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">In 2020, he authored <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code \u2013 Law and Practice<\/span>, foreworded by <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Hon\u2019ble Mr Justice Suryakant, Judge, Supreme Court of India<\/span>, published by <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Eastern Book Company<\/span>. The <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Second Edition<\/span>, foreworded by <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Hon\u2019ble Mr Justice Ravindra Bhat, Judge, Supreme Court of India<\/span>, was released in <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">January 2023<\/span>. He is also a regular <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">expert columnist for SCC Online<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">With a strong interest in legal research and academic discipline, he qualified the <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">UGC\u2013NET<\/span> examination in 2018.
