Amity Law School, Noida successfully organises the 15th edition of its flagship Amity International Moot Court Competition, 2025 (paperless).<\/p>\n

Amity Law School, Noida (ALSN), one of India’s premier institutions for legal education, successfully hosted the 15th Amity International Moot Court Competition (AIM 2025)<\/span> from 9th to 11th October 2025<\/span>. The event, organised by the Moot Court Society<\/span>, was held in an offline format at the Amity Law School, Noida campus and witnessed enthusiastic participation from national and international universities.<\/p>\n

Guided by the vision of “Second to None”, ALSN continues to uphold its commitment to academic excellence and practical advocacy. AIM 2025<\/span> brought together several teams from distinguished institutions across India and abroad, reaffirming its reputation as one of the most prestigious moot court competitions in the country.<\/p>\n

Theme and Proposition<\/h3>\n

The moot proposition for AIM 2025 was based on the theme “The International Community and a New Crime of Aggression — The Case Concerning Alphalpha and Anonymous Victims.”<\/p>\n

The problem examined the evolving landscape of Public International Law<\/span>, engaging participants in complex issues surrounding state sovereignty<\/span>, humanitarian intervention<\/span>, and collective international accountability<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Inaugural Ceremony<\/h3>\n

The competition commenced with an SCC Online Training Session<\/span> and the Researcher’s Test<\/span>, providing participants with an opportunity to refine their research and analytical skills before the rounds began.<\/p>\n

Rounds and Proceedings<\/h3>\n

The Preliminary Rounds<\/span> witnessed compelling advocacy and rigorous legal reasoning as participants argued before panels comprising experts from the Bar and academia.<\/p>\n

Eight teams advanced to the Quarter-Finals<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The Quarter-Finals<\/span> and Semi-Finals<\/span> showcased the intellectual depth and composure of the participants, who impressed the judges with their mastery over international law and courtroom demeanour.<\/p>\n

The Grand Finale<\/span> was contested between Army Institute of Law, Mohali (TC 105)<\/span> and Government Law College, Madurai (TC 112)<\/span>. Both teams exhibited exceptional research, advocacy, and legal articulation. After a riveting final round, Army Institute of Law, Mohali<\/span> was declared the Winner<\/span>, while Government Law College, Madurai<\/span> was adjudged Runner-Up<\/span>.<\/p>\n
