The event concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation and the presence of eminent scholars from various countries and universities. A large number of research scholars, advocates, legal academicians, and students from India and abroad actively took part in the conference.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%; text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/14_Conference-Report-Tantia-University-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"500\"\/><\/p>\n<h3>Unveiling of the Statue of &#8216;Lady Justice&#8217; Prior to the Inauguration<\/h3>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The conference began on Saturday morning with the unveiling of the statue of &#8216;Lady Justice&#8217; installed in the Law Faculty premises. The unveiling ceremony was conducted by Hon&#8217;ble Justice Shri Chandrashekhar Sharma of the Rajasthan High Court, Jodhpur.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">On this occasion, District and Sessions Judge Shri Sanjeev Mago &amp; Chairperson of Tantia Group, Smt. Sunita Tantia, graced the event with their distinguished presence.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">They were accompanied by senior university officials&#8212;Vice Chairperson Dr. Mohit Tantia, Vice Chancellor Prof. M. M. Saxena, Executive Director Shri K. S. Sukhdev, and other university dignitaries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">A large number of faculty members, students, and members of the university fraternity were also present.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%; text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/14_Conference-Report-Tantia-University-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"500\"\/><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%; text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/14_Conference-Report-Tantia-University-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"500\"\/><\/p>\n<h3>Inaugural Session: &#8220;Difficult to Separate Truth from Falsehood&#8221; &#8212; Justice Sharma<\/h3>\n<p>Addressing the gathering as the Chief Guest in the inaugural ceremony, Justice Shri Chandrashekhar Sharma observed,<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 36pt; margin-bottom: 3%;\">&#8220;Today, truth is so deeply mixed with falsehood that it has become extremely difficult to separate one from the other.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">He further stated that the essence of human rights and the Constitution can remain protected only when citizens are equally aware of their duties as they are of their rights.<\/p>\n<p>He emphasised,<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 36pt; margin-bottom: 3%;\">&#8220;The strength of your thinking determines the direction of your life. Positive thinking yields positive outcomes.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">During the inaugural session, Vice Chairperson Dr. Mohit Tantia, Executive Director Dr. K. S. Sukhdev, Director (Research &amp; Academics) Dr. Praveer Sharma, and Group General Manager Dr. Vikas Sachdeva welcomed the guests.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Distinguished guest Prof. (Dr.) S. K. Saini, Principal, Government Law College, Churu, remarked that &#8220;The Constitution and Human Rights are among the most crucial subjects of the 21st century, and their relevance has increased more than ever before.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Former Principal of University Law College, Rajasthan University, Dr. Rajiv Soni, highlighted the finer aspects of democracy, stating,<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 36pt; margin-bottom: 3%;\">&#8220;Democracy is not merely about majority; it grants even the last individual the right to express their view.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">He also underscored the indispensable role of the judiciary in safeguarding the Constitution.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) M. M. III<\/h3>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>Held in both offline and virtual modes.<\/p>\n<p>More than 30 research scholars and students presented papers in the offline session, while more than 50 presenters (Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, Advocates, Research Scholars and Students) from reputed universities across India presented in the virtual mode.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">These sessions were chaired by renowned legal experts from various National Law Universities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%; enhanced the charm of the evening with melodious music.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">This cultural event added colour and memorability to the conference for both participants and the audience.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%; C. Bose University of Science &amp; Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, remarked that as society evolves, law must evolve too&#8212;without societal progress, law loses relevance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">He cited examples such as the abolition of child marriage and the Sati system through law.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Dr. Manjinder Gulyani (Faculty of Law, Kurukshetra University) discussed the impact of emerging technologies, especially AI, warning that technology is exerting immense influence on human reasoning and intelligence.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Dr. Kalpna Sharma (University of Delhi) emphasised the right to privacy and the practical implementation of fundamental rights.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Chairing the session, Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) M. M. Saxena said that students gained immense knowledge from the insights shared by national and international experts, which will contribute significantly to their personality development.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Associate Professor Dr. Navna Singh presented the two-day report of the conference, highlighting the extensive learning and experience acquired by scholars and students.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Dean Dr. Saurabh Garg delivered the valedictory address, appreciating all participants for their excellent contribution and active participation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">A vote of thanks was proposed by Assistant Professor Rajendra Singh, and the stage was conducted by Assistant Professor Shreya Dhingra<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Faculty members who performed outstandingly were also felicitated.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">As organizing secretaries, Dr. Navna Singh (Associate Professor) and Anamika Khurana (Assistant Professor) played an important role in coordinating and managing the entire event.
