The UILS Student Law Review (USLR<\/span>) is inviting submissions for Volume III, Issue I<\/span> of the Journal. It is a student-run, bi-annual journal of University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh with the ISSN No. 3107-6750<\/span>. It has been conceptualized with the aim to foster constructive discussion on contemporary issues relating to the variegated fields of law by providing a platform to well-researched works exploring a novel aspect of law.<\/p>\n

Call for Papers:<\/h3>\n

The UILS Student Law Review (USLR) is inviting submissions for Volume III, Issue I of the Journal, on any contemporary legal issue<\/span>, from Law Students and Research Scholars. The last day for submission is 31st<\/span> December 2025.<\/p>\n

Submission Categories<\/h3>\n

USLR accepts four categories of submissions:<\/p>\n

(a) Articles:<\/span> An article must be descriptive in nature, providing a comprehensive analysis of the issue. It should be between 3,000 to 5,000 words.<\/p>\n

(b) Case Comments:<\/span> A case comment must contain a succinct analysis of a recent judicial pronouncement or a landmark case. It should be between 1,500 to 3,000 words.<\/p>\n

(c) Legislative Comments:<\/span> A legislative comment must seek to undertake a detailed scrutiny of a proposed Bill, an Act or legislation. It should be between 1,500 to 3,000 words.<\/p>\n

(d) Book Reviews:<\/span> A book review may be given on any book related to law. The word limit for the same is within 1,500 to 3,000 words.<\/p>\n

Formatting Guidelines<\/h3>\n

    The USLR follows ‘The Indian Law Institute (ILI)’ citation system. The use of speaking footnotes and endnotes is highly discouraged.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    The body of the manuscript must be in Font: Times New Roman, Size: 12 and Spacing: 1.5 spacing<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    The footnotes must be in Font: Times New Roman, Size: 10 and Spacing: single spacing<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
