Final_Version_01\"><sup>1<\/sup><\/a>:<\/h3>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>Unveiled under the IndiaAI Mission, this initiative marks a pivotal step in India&#8217;s journey toward ethical and human-centric AI leadership.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The announcement was made by <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Prof. Ajay Kumar Sood<\/span>, Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government, alongside <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Shri S. Krishnan<\/span>, Secretary, MeitY, and other senior officials and domain experts.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Guidelines are built around four foundational components:<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 36pt; text-indent: -18pt;\">&#9642; <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Seven Guiding Principles (Sutras):<\/span> Including &#8216;<span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Do No Harm<\/span>,&#8217; fairness, transparency, accountability, inclusivity, privacy, and sustainability.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 36pt; text-indent: -18pt;\">&#9642; <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Six Pillars of Governance:<\/span> Addressing data stewardship, risk mitigation, regulatory alignment, innovation enablement, public engagement, and global cooperation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 36pt; text-indent: -18pt;\">&#9642; <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Action Plan:<\/span> Structured across short-, medium-, and long-term timelines to guide implementation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 36pt; text-indent: -18pt;\">&#9642; <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Practical Guidelines:<\/span> Tailored for developers, industry leaders, and regulators to ensure transparent, accountable, and human-centric AI deployment.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Prof. Ajay Kumar emphasized the importance of a flexible and adaptive ecosystem, stating,<\/p>\n<p class=\"animate-charcter\" style=\"margin-bottom: 2%; margin-left: 36pt; font-style: italic;\">&#8220;The guiding principle that defines the spirit of the framework is simple, &#8216;<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Do No Harm&#8217;<\/span>.
