Through moot courts, research, and community initiatives, it blends academic rigor with practical learning.<\/p>\n<h3>About the Vivekanand Legal Conclave<\/h3>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Vivekanand Legal Conclave (VLC)<\/span> serves as the flagship <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">National Inter Collegiate Law Fest<\/span> of VES College of Law, designed to provide a dynamic platform for law students across India to engage, compete, and excel. The Conclave evolved from the National Moot Court Competition, which ran successfully for six editions before transforming into a multidisciplinary legal fest.<\/p>\n<h3>Competitions<\/h3>\n<p>The 3rd edition comprises the following competitions:<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">1. Moot Court Competition<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Registration Fee: &#8377;3,000\/-<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">This event simulates real courtroom proceedings to test participants&#8217; legal acumen and advocacy. <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">One participant from each Moot Court team must participate in the PIL Drafting Competition.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">2. Client Counselling Competition<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Registration Fee: &#8377;2,500\/-<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">A realistic simulation of client lawyer interactions where participants demonstrate advisory and empathetic counselling skills while upholding professional ethics.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">3. Debate Competition<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Registration Fee: &#8377;2,000\/-<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Encouraging structured argumentation on contemporary socio legal issues, this event offers a platform for articulate discussion and persuasive reasoning.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">4. PIL Drafting Competition<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-style: italic;\">Registration Fee: &#8377;500\/-<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Designed to foster a sense of social responsibility, this competition engages participants in drafting effective Public Interest Litigations that address pressing societal issues.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Eligibility Criteria<\/h3>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The Fest is open to all bona fide students currently enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate law programs (3-Year or <doclink docname=\"\" actblocktype=\"\" sectionno=\"5-Year\" doi=\"\" match=\"no\">5-Year<\/doclink> LL.B. Courses, or LL.M.) at recognised institutions.
