On 28-10-2025, Justice Tara Vitasta Ganju was sworn in as Judge of Karnataka High Court. She was administered the oath of office by Justice Vibhu Bakhru, Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court.<\/p>\n

Justice Tara Vitasta’s transfer was approved<\/a> by the Ministry of Law and Justice on 14-10-2025. Her transfer was recommended by the Collegium on 27-8-2025<\/a>. Upon this recommendation several practising High Court advocates wrote a letter to the Chief Justice of India expressing their protest at the Supreme Court Collegium’s recommendation\/proposal to transfer. The letter further requested the CJI to reconsider this recommendation for transfer<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Supreme Court Collegium recommended Justice Tara’s transfer from Delhi High Court in August, which was confirmed by Law Ministry on
