Aiming to be a monthly publication, it provides an accessible and interdisciplinary platform for critical engagement with contemporary developments in international law and allied disciplines. Each issue features analytical articles, opinion pieces, case notes, and creative contributions that connect law with broader social, political, and cultural contexts. The newsletter seeks to foster fresh perspectives, academic curiosity, and collaboration among students and researchers across universities worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>CILAD Monthly is:<\/p>\n<ol style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\">\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Open<\/span> &#8212; anyone from law or social sciences may contribute.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Interdisciplinary<\/span> &#8212; embracing perspectives beyond legal doctrine.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Forward-Looking &#8212;<\/span> Challenging conventional narratives through fresh voices.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 style=\"font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline; text-underline-style: solid; text-underline-mode: continuous;\">Eligibility:<\/h3>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>Undergraduate, postgraduate, or doctoral students from law and social sciences disciplines.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The call is open internationally and not limited to any single university.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Both individual and co-authored contributions are welcome (up to 2 authors).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 style=\"font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline; text-underline-style: solid; text-underline-mode: continuous;\">Types of Contributions<\/h3>\n<ol style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\">\n<li>\n<p>Feature Articles (1000&#8212;1500 words) &#8212; analytical essays on international law\/policy.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Opinion Pieces (600&#8212;900 words) &#8212; arguments or reflections on current issues.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Case Notes &amp; Legislation Notes (500&#8212;800 words) &#8212; key judgments, treaties, or bills.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Interdisciplinary Essays (under 1500 words) &#8212; linking law to politics, sociology, economics, literature, etc.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Book\/Film Reviews (400&#8212;700 words) &#8212; relevant to law, rights, or social sciences.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Creative Corner &#8212; poems, short fiction, or reflective writings on justice and society.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 style=\"font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline; text-underline-style: solid; text-underline-mode: continuous;\">Submission Guidelines<\/h3>\n<ol style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\">\n<li>\n<p>Clarity first: Avoid jargon; explain terms simply.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Tone: Analytical, accessible, and respectful.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Referencing: Use OSCOLA\/Bluebook\/APA (choose one style and stay consistent).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"font-style: italic;\">Formatting:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>Font: Times New Roman, size 12.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Spacing: 1.5.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Submit via Google Form\/Email by the 15th of every month.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Only original, unpublished work is accepted. Plagiarism above 10% is not permitted.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Authors retain copyright, but grant CILAD Monthly permission to publish. By submitting, authors confirm that their work does not infringe third-party rights. Authors shall be solely responsible for any legal issues arising from their contributions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Each contributor should attach a 50-word author bio and contact email.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold; margin-bottom: 3%;\">Author Name(s), Institution, and Word Count should be mentioned in the email\/form and not on the manuscript. Violation of this, may lead us to reject the submission.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 style=\"font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline; text-underline-style: solid; text-underline-mode: continuous;\">Code of Conduct<\/h3>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Respectful writing only: no hate speech, personal attacks, or discriminatory remarks.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Political critique is allowed, but partisan campaigning is not.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Cross-disciplinary openness is encouraged &#8212; acknowledge diverse viewpoints.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline; text-underline-style: solid; text-underline-mode: continuous;\">Deadline<\/h3>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Submissions for the first edition
