The prestigious competition was held <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">offline at BICAM, Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia<\/span>, from <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">March 21 to March 26, 2025<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The Asia Pacific (APAC) Vis Pre-Moot serves as one of the most prominent preparatory rounds for the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. This year, over <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">100 teams from across the globe<\/span> participated in the preliminary virtual rounds. The team from Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad, showcased exceptional legal acumen and advocacy skills, successfully qualifying among the <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">top 32 teams worldwide<\/span> before proceeding to the offline knockout rounds in Malaysia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Throughout the course of the competition, the team engaged with some of the most reputed institutions across the world, including the <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">University of Malaya<\/span>, the <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences<\/span>, <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Tsinghua University<\/span>, and <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Guangdong University of Foreign Studies<\/span>, among others. In the <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">final rounds<\/span>, the team argued against <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Shanghai Jiao Tong University<\/span>, securing a remarkable victory and bringing laurels to the institution.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 1%;\">Reflecting on their experience, the team shared&#8212;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%; margin-left: 36pt; font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;\">&#8220;Vis is not just a competition, it&#8217;s a journey that teaches you far beyond the classroom.
