On 30.01.2016, the President appointed \u00a0(i) Shri Justice Vivek Kumar Birla, (ii) Shri Justice Attau Rahman Masoodi, (iii) Shri Justice Ashwani Kumar Mishra, (iv) Shri Justice Rajan Roy, (v) Smt. Justice Ranjana Pandya, (vi) Smt. Justice Vijay Lakshmi, (vii) Shri Justice Arvind Kumar Mishra-I, (viii) Shri Justice Anant Kumar, (ix) Shri Justice Harsh Kumar, (x) Shri Justice Shashi Kant, (xi) Shri Justice Om Prakash-VII, and (xii) Shri Justice Yashwant Varma, Additional Judges of the Allahabad High Court, to be Judges of the Allahabad High Court with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices.<\/p>\n

On 29.01.2016, the President of India, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, transferred Miss Justice Bela Madhurya Trivedi, Judge of the Rajasthan High Court, as a Judge of the Gujarat High Court and directed her to assume charge of her office in the Gujarat High Court on or before 12.02. 2016.<\/p>\n
On 29.01.2016, the President appointed Shri Justice Sudip Ranjan Sen, Judge of the Meghalaya High Court, to perform the duties of the office of the Chief Justice of the Meghalaya High Court with effect from 1.02.2016 consequent upon the retirement of Shri Justice T. Nandakumar Singh, senior-most Judge of the Meghalaya High Court.<\/p>\n
On 12.01.2016, the President of India appointed (i) Smt. Rathnakala, (ii) Shri Budihal Rudrappa Bhimappa, and (iii) Shri Koratagere Narasimha Murthy Phaneendra, to be Additional Judges of the Karnataka High Court, for a period of six months with effect from 24.01.2016, Shri Pradeep Dattatraya Waingankar, to be an Additional Judge of the Karnataka High Court, with effect from 24.01.2016 till 9.04.2016 2016 and Shri Arakalagudu Venkataramaiah Chandrashekara, to be an Additional Judge of the Karnataka High Court, with effect from 24.01. 2016 till 29.05.2016.<\/p>\n
On 1.01.2016, the President appointed (i) Shri Vinay Manohar Deshpande, (ii) Shri Ajey Shrikant Gadkari, (iii) Shri Nitin Wasudeo Sambre, (iv) Shri Girish Sharadchandra Kulkarni, and (v) Shri Burgess Pesi Colabawalla, to be Additional Judges of the Bombay High Court, for a period of six months with effect from 6.01.2016.<\/p>\n
