ABOUT NATIONAL WORKSHOP & BOARDROOM SIMULATION COMPETITION, 2025<\/h3>\n

The Corporate Law Committee, Presidency School of Law, proudly presents a Two-Day National Workshop on November 7 & 8, 2025, designed to bridge theory with practice in the evolving field of corporate governance. This two-day event is a unique workshop that combines insightful academic sessions along with a hands-on boardroom simulation competition, offering participants a rare opportunity to step into the shoes of key corporate stakeholders and decision-makers.<\/p>\n

Day One<\/span> — Academic Exchange:<\/span> Lectures, panel discussions, and expert insights on governance challenges and regulatory perspectives.<\/p>\n

Day Two<\/span> — Simulation Competition:<\/span> A hands-on boardroom crisis simulation where participants step into the roles of directors, lawyers, regulators, and stakeholders to resolve high-stakes corporate dilemmas.<\/span><\/p>\n

ELIGIBILITY<\/h3>\n

The workshop welcomes a diverse pool of students keen to explore the intersection of law and corporate strategy, including:<\/p>\n

    The<\/span> National<\/span> Workshop<\/span> &<\/span> Boardroom<\/span> Simulation<\/span> Competition,<\/span> 2025,<\/span> will<\/span> be<\/span> held<\/span> offline<\/span> at Presidency University, Bengaluru, on 7—8 November 2025.<\/p>\n

    TEAM COMPOSITION<\/span><\/h3>\n

    Participation takes place in two modes:<\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. \n

      Team Participation<\/span>: Each institution may nominate teams consisting of five (5) members, with each member being assigned a distinct role (Chairperson, Company Secretary, Independent Director, External Legal Counsel, Small Shareholder Director).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    2. \n

      Individual Participation<\/span>: Students may also register individually. Such participants will be grouped into composite teams by the Organising Committee and will be informed of their final team composition at least seven (7) days before the commencement of the Workshop.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
