Its objective is to create a platform for critical engagement, foster awareness, and develop a sustained interest in these fields among students and professionals. Over the years, IPTLS has organised interactive sessions, seminars, and panel discussions with distinguished experts, including Professor David Nimmer, Ms. Anupriya Dhochak, and Mr. Vibhav Mittal from Anand and Anand. The Society also conducts a national essay competition in collaboration with the technology policy think tank, The Dialogue, which has attracted tremendous participation over the last two years.<\/p>\n<h3>About WBNUJS<\/h3>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (&#8216;WBNUJS&#8217;) was established under the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/DocumentLink.aspx?q=JTXT-9000667408\" target=\"_blank\">WBNUJS Act, 1999<\/a> (West Bengal Act IX of 1999), adopted by the West Bengal Legislature in July 1999. WBNUJS is considered one of the best amongst the elite national law schools in India, built on the five-year law degree model proposed and implemented by the Bar Council of India. The university offers a five-year integrated B.A.\/B.Sc. LLB (Hons.) degree programme at the undergraduate level and a Master of Laws (LLM) programme at the postgraduate level. The Chief Justice of India is the Chancellor of NUJS and is also the Chairman of the General Council, the supreme policy-making body of the University. Prof. (Dr.) Nirmal Kanti Chakrabarti is the Vice Chancellor of the University.<\/p>\n<h3>About the Blog<\/h3>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The NUJS IPTLS is pleased to invite rolling submissions for its blog. Contributions may be in the form of 900&#8212;1200-word posts that engage with contemporary developments in intellectual property law, technology law, or the intersection of these fields with other areas. Posts exceeding the word limit may be considered for publication in parts, subject to editorial discretion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The preferred mode of referencing is through embedded hyperlinks within the text. Footnotes should be used only where hyperlinking is impracticable or insufficient, and in such cases must conform to the <a href=\"https:\/\/nujslawreview.org\/citation-standard\/\" target=\"_blank\">2nd Edition of the NUJS Law Review citation style<\/a>. Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. Authors are encouraged to consult the detailed <a href=\"https:\/\/nujsiplaw.wordpress.com\/submission-guidelines\/?theme=pub\/assembler\" target=\"_blank\">submission guidelines<\/a> available on the blog before submitting.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Submissions should be sent to <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">iptls@nujs.edu<\/span> with the subject line &#8216;Blog Submission&#8217;. All posts will be evaluated by the Editorial Board on the basis of the quality of research and analysis, originality, grammar and language, adherence to formatting guidelines, accuracy and credibility of citations, as well as overall merit.
