The Bar Council of India<\/span> has issued a notification to assist the<\/span> Centres of Legal Education<\/span> to log in to the previously created account and complete the updation of the existing Centres of Legal Education\/ University Application.<\/span><\/p>\n

Background:<\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. \n

    Earlier, on 8-9-2025, the Bar Council of India<\/span> issued a notification directing the Centres of Legal Education<\/span> to complete their particulars and documentation for extension of approval and updation on the Bar Council of India Portal<\/span> by 23-9-2025.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    It is necessary for Bar Council of India to maintain an accurate, public- facing register of recognized Centres of Legal Education so that students, parents, universities and State Bar Councils can rely upon the same for admission, academic progression, and enrolment.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    In case of non-compliance, the affiliation of the Centres of Legal Education will not be considered for the academic year 2026-27.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    The documents need to be uploaded on Bar Council of India Portal under the “Extension of Approval\/ Updation”<\/span> workflow in searchable PDF format and files should clearly named.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Login Assistance for already registered Centres of Legal Education:<\/h3>\n
      \n
    1. \n

      To login visit- https:\/\/www.barcouncilofindia.org\/user\/login<\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    2. \n

      Enter the registered Email ID which was verified with OTP during registration.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    3. \n

      Enter the password created during registration.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    4. \n

      In case the password is incorrect\/ forgotten, create a new password by clicking on Forgot Password<\/span> option which. An OTP will be sent to the registered email ID, once verified, a new password can be created.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Login Assistance for new registrations:<\/h3>\n

      1. \n

        Send the details of the Centre of Legal Education<\/span> to cle@barcouncilofindia.org<\/a> or Whatsapp<\/span> them to +91 8754487566.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      2. \n

        The request will be processed within 48 working hours.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      3. \n

        A custom registration link will be sent to the provided Email ID.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      4. \n

        For further assistance kindly visit https:\/\/www.barcouncilofindia.org\/info\/university-recognition-new<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
