The Centre provides a platform for a holistic research environment and aims to further knowledge and academic discussions about the multifaceted dimensions of criminal science.<\/p>\n<h3>ABOUT THE COMPETITION<\/h3>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The competition aims to provide a platform for students in the fields of Law, Criminology, Public Administration, Sociology, and related fields to engage with critical issues facing India and the world&#8217;s criminal justice system.<\/p>\n<h3>COMPETITION THEMES<\/h3>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The main theme of the Competition is <span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;\">Transcending Boundaries in Criminal Justice: From Local Realities to Global Imperatives.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"\">The competition will focus on the following sub-themes:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Financial Crimes and Global Regulatory Standards<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Victim-Centric Approaches to Justice<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Juvenile Justice: Reform, Deterrence, and Protection Balance<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Challenges in Cross-Border Criminal Investigations<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Criminal Law and Environmental Offenses: Addressing Climate Change Crimes<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Evolving Frameworks for Witness Protection Across Different Criminal Jurisdictions<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%; font-weight: bold;\">Universal Jurisdiction in International Criminal Law<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%; font-style: italic;\">Participants are encouraged to strictly adhere to the competition themes.<\/p>\n<h3>ESSAY GUIDELINES<\/h3>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>The name of the Author(s) or any other form of identification must not be mentioned in the Essay.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Co-authorship is limited to a maximum of two (2) authors.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Word limit: 1500-2000 words, excluding the Footnotes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Font style &#8212; Times New Roman.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Font size &#8212; 14 for Headings, 12 for Body, 10 for Footnotes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Line Spacing &#8212; 1.5 for Body, 1.0 for Footnotes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Citation Style &#8212; OSCOLA.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Margins &#8212; 1 inch (i.e., 2.54 cm) on each side.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Note: Speaking footnotes are allowed in the submissions but are not mandatory. If included, speaking footnotes should be limited to a maximum of 50 words each.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The plagiarism limit is 10% following UGC Guidelines.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Use of Artificial Intelligence for submissions is strictly prohibited and highly discouraged.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>REGISTRATION &amp; SUBMISSION PROCESS<\/h3>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>A <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">non-refundable<\/span> fee of <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">&#8377;100<\/span> is to be paid for each submission as registration fees.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The registration fee must be paid online through the link provided below.
