The provisions came into force on 10-9-2025.<\/p>\n<h3>Key Points:<\/h3>\n<ol style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\">\n<li>\n<p>These Rules come under the ambit of the <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.scconline.com\/DocumentLink\/Usmb3lWR\" target=\"_blank\">Boilers Act, 2025<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Inquiry of accidents:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>In case a report is received of an accident to a boiler or boiler component, a preliminary inquiry will be conducted in the State concerned in whose jurisdiction the accident occurred.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>According to Section <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/DocumentLink.aspx?q=JTXT-9002643334\" target=\"_blank\">23<\/a> of the <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.scconline.com\/DocumentLink\/Usmb3lWR\" target=\"_blank\">Boilers Act, 2025<\/a>:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 36pt; text-indent: -18pt;\">&#10003; In such cases the owner\/ person in charge will have to report to the Inspector within 24 hours of the accident.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 36pt; text-indent: -18pt;\">&#10003; The report should contain a true description of the nature of the accident and of the injury in such a detailed manner that the Inspector can understand the gravity of the accident.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 36pt; text-indent: -18pt;\">&#10003; The Inspector will put every question in writing to every person, and they will be bound to answer truthfully to the best of their knowledge.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 36pt; text-indent: -18pt;\">&#10003; In case of death the inquiry will be conducted by the Central Government.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>In case any <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">death<\/span> has resulted due the accident then the Chief Inspector of the State concerned will have to forward the report to the <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Technical Advisor<\/span> in Form A.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Inquiry Committee:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p> It will consist of<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 36pt; text-indent: -18pt;\">&#10003; Technical Advisor- Chairperson;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 36pt; text-indent: -18pt;\">&#10003; A Chief Inspector\/ Directir of Boiler- Member;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 36pt; text-indent: -18pt;\">&#10003; A representative of Boiler and boiler component manufacturer\/ user of boilers\/ any other member in the Board- Member.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 36pt; text-indent: -18pt;\">&#10003;
