Gavai, recommended the name of Justice Shree Chandrashekhar as the Chief Justice of Bombay High Court.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">If this recommendation is confirmed, the Justice Shree Chandrashekhar will be poised take over the reins from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/post\/2025\/08\/25\/supreme-collegium-recommends-appointment-2-new-sc-judges\/\" target=\"_blank\">Justice Alok Aradhe, who has been recommended for elevation<\/a> to the Supreme Court.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Justice Shree Chandrashekhar, whose parent High Court is Jharkhand, was appointed as Additional Judge of the High Court of Jharkhand, Ranchi on 17-01-2013 and, as Permanent Judge on 27-06-2014. He was appointed as Acting Chief Justice of the High Court of Jharkhand with effect from 29-12-2023.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Thereafter he was transferred to Rajasthan High Court and then to Bombay High Court in July 2025.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-style: italic;\">Justice Shree Chandrashekhar&#8217;s parent High Court is Jharkhand High Court.
