About NUJS<\/h3>\n

The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS) was established under the WBNUJS Act, 1999 (West Bengal Act IX of 1999) adopted by the West Bengal Legislature in July, 1999. The University was notified under Clause (f) of Section 2 of the UGC Act, 1956 in August 2004 and has been granted permanent affiliation by the Bar Council of India in July 2005.     Eligibility and Team Composition<\/h3>\n
      \n
    1. \n

      The Competition is open to all students, enrolled bona fide at the time of the competition on a regular basis in an undergraduate LL.B. degree programme (either 3 years LL.B. or 5 years LL.B.) or its equivalent conducted by any recognized Institution\/College\/University in India. Students enrolled in postgraduate or diploma programmes are not eligible to participate.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    2. \n

      Each Team shall comprise a minimum of 2 (two) and maximum 3 (three) members. In case of a three-member team, two members of the Team shall be designated as Speakers and the third member shall be designated as the Researcher. In case of a two-member team, both members shall be designated as Orators.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    3. \n

      Any additional member or Team Coach accompanying a Team shall not be recognized and will not be entitled to a certificate for the Competition.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
