Apart from conducting RILEC every year, the Committee annually publishes two peer-reviewed journals \u2014 the RMLNLU Law Review and the RMLNLU Journal on CMET (Communication, Media, Entertainment and Technology) Law. Both these journals publish articles, essays, case notes\/comments and book reviews from contributors all over the world. The RMLNLU Law Review also runs a blog that provides a platform for people in the field to express their opinions on contemporary legal issues.<\/p>\n<h3>Themes and Sub themes<\/h3>\n<p>This year the Committee is inviting original submissions from authors in the form of essays falling within the indicated contours of the theme of the offline conference \u2014 \u201cWhite-Collar Crimes\u201d. The list of the indicated sub-themes is given below to aid the participants:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>Corporate Criminal Liability &amp; ESG<\/li>\n<li>Corporate Criminal Liability in FinTech and Cross-Border Virtual Asset Offences<\/li>\n<li>Whistleblower Protection in White-Collar Crimes<\/li>\n<li>Regulatory Gaps in Curbing Bank Loan Fraud in India and Impact of Unregulated Lending in India<\/li>\n<li>Deferred Prosecution Agreements (DPAs) as a Tool for White-Collar Crime Enforcement in India<\/li>\n<li>Governance of Shell Corporations and their Role in Enabling White-Collar Crimes<\/li>\n<li>Role and Admissibility of Forensic Diligence in White-Collar Crime Investigations<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Interplay between Global Anti-Money Laundering Standards and White Collar Crime<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">NOTE:<\/span> Sub-themes are merely indicative in nature and not exhaustive.<\/p>\n<h3>Eligibility<\/h3>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Authors must be pursuing their <span class=\"Strong\">5-year integrated LL.B. (Hons.) course\/ 3-year LL.B. course\/ LL.M<\/span> from any recognised university in India or equivalent law degree abroad for the academic year of 2025-2026, to be eligible to participate in the competition.<\/p>\n<h3>Structure<\/h3>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>All entries will be judged and ranked by <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Luthra &amp; Luthra Law Offices India<\/span> and the <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Committee<\/span>.<\/li>\n<li>The <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">authors of the top six entries<\/span> will be selected for an offline conference. In the conference, they would be required to present their papers before a panel of judges.<\/li>\n<li>The participants may adopt any suitable means for presenting the papers including audio-visual aids, such as PowerPoint presentation.<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">final rankings<\/span> of the authors of the top six entries shall be declared on the basis of their paper presentations in the conference.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Cash Prizes<\/h3>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>Winner: INR 15,000\/-<\/li>\n<li>First Runner- up: INR 10,000\/-<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Second Runner- up: INR 5,000\/-<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Other entitlements<\/h3>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>Authors of top three entries will be receiving a \u2018<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Certificate of Achievement<\/span>\u2019 and may, upon the discretion of Luthra &amp; Luthra, receive an <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">internship opportunity<\/span> as per the Internship Policy of the Firm.<\/li>\n<li>A \u2018<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Certificate of Merit<\/span>\u2019 shall be provided to the selected entries.<\/li>\n<li>Top three entries will be published on the RMLNLU Law Review Blog.<\/li>\n<li>Top three entries may be considered for publication in the next issue of the <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">RMLNLU Law Review Journal<\/span>.<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">All participants shall be receiving a \u2018<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Certificate of Participation<\/span>\u2019.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Participation Guidelines<\/h3>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>Co-authorship of entries (maximum two) among individuals from the same or different institutions is allowed.<\/li>\n<li>Multiple entries for the same authors are not allowed.<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Entries should be original, unpublished and non-plagiarised.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Submission Guidelines<\/h3>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>Word Limit: 4000-5000 words (excluding footnotes).<\/li>\n<li>Individual Attachments: Name; contact details; current academic status (year of study, name of university etc.); undertaking as to guarantee of originality.\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>Font and size for the essay: Times New Roman \u2014 12<\/li>\n<li>Font and size for footnotes: Times New Roman \u2014 10<\/li>\n<li>Paper Size: A 4<\/li>\n<li>Line spacing: 1.5<\/li>\n<li>Margin: 1\u201d from all sides<\/li>\n<li>Alignment: Justified<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Citation Style: Footnotes must be properly cited strictly in accordance with the latest OSCOLA (4th edition) format.
