National Human Rights Commission (NHRC):<\/span> While perusing a complaint highlighting the issue of prevalent malnutrition in over 47,000 children in Telangana, the NHRC directed that a copy of the complaint be sent to the authorities concerned and an Action Taken Report be submitted in the matter. It was further stated that the issue will be taken up for hearing by the NHRC during its Camp Sitting\/Open Hearing on 28-07-2025 at Hyderabad, Telangana.<\/p>\n

The petitioner filed a complaint on 5-1-2025 submitting a news report in Deccan Chronicle titled as \u201cOver 47 K Children in Telangana affected by malnutrition\u201d.<\/span> The petitioner sought directions from NHRC for the authorities concerned.<\/p>\n

Addressing an intimation letter to the Chief Secretary, Government of Telangana, the NHRC stated that the venue for the Open Hearing will be intimated in due course of time and directed the authorities concerned or their representatives and the complainant\/victim or his\/her representative, to ensure their presence for the hearing.<\/p>\n
