National Human Rights Commission:<\/span> In a petition filed by an advocate and human rights activist seeking cognizance of the lack of government schools in 3,688 villages in Telangana, the National Human Rights Commission (\u2018NHRC\u2019), in a letter response, directed that the matter would be taken up for hearing during its Camp Sitting\/Open Hearing on 28-07-2025 at Hyderabad, Telangana.<\/p>\n

The NHRC further directed that the concerned authorities or their representatives, as well as the complainant or his representative, as applicable, shall be present for the hearing. The Nodal Officer appointed by the Telangana Government for the hearing shall coordinate with the complainant to ensure their presence. They shall also be provided with all necessary assistance to reach the venue of the hearing.<\/p>\n

Accordingly, a copy of the complaint was sent along with this information by the NHRC to the State for taking appropriate action in the matter as per the directions.
