This edition seeks to reframe <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">dignity<\/span> not merely as an aspirational or rhetorical ideal, but as a constitutional tool that actively shapes legal practice, judicial reasoning, and pedagogy.<\/p>\n<h3>Call for Abstracts:<\/h3>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The conference will feature a workshop component, for which submissions are now open. The Organizing Committee invites academics, legal practitioners, researchers, policy professionals, and students (from law and allied disciplines) to submit abstracts that engage critically with the idea of dignity as both a doctrinal principle and a transformative ethic.<\/p>\n<h3>Themes include (but are not limited to):<\/h3>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>The promise and practice of dignity in Indian Courts<\/li>\n<\/p>\n<li>\n<p>Reflections from the experience in trial court in protecting dignity in cases involving sexual violence, caste atrocity, and institutional negligence.<\/li>\n<\/p>\n<li>\n<p>Critique of state-centric dignity jurisprudence, with an emphasis on the need for plural legal imaginations and postcolonial justice frameworks.<\/li>\n<\/p>\n<li>\n<p>Dignity and constitutional personhood.<\/li>\n<\/p>\n<li>\n<p>Trial-Level dignity and procedural justice.<\/li>\n<\/p>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom:
